Carnegie Hall Concerts
Dear Friends,
I am writing to tell you of an awesome opportunity for us to do what I always talk about…. takin it to the streets… taking the message of who we are outside the church walls into the secular society. I always talk about how Jesus’ ministry was in the secular world. He didn’t run from it or build up walls to keep others who are different than us out. He faced the challenges and met the people where they are with the message of love and forgiveness. Now it is our turn and this is a great chance for us to do just that.
Download the brochure, about singing God’s praises at a Carnegie Hall Concerts in New York City. John Hale or Steve Petrunak will be available for questions and help us figure out this journey. If will be a Spiritual experience and a fun experience. We hope to rehearse at St. Patrick’s Cathedral… there will be dinner’s, sight seeing, and sharing opportunities of faith and the journey. The concert is January 14, 2011. So we will still be in the Christmas Season so there will be Christmas songs too…. If my estimate is accurate we could have around 400 – 500 singers… what a powerful witness of our faith to the world!!

The experience of being on stage and behind stage at Carnegie Hall Concerts is
one of the most thrilling a musician can have. To think of the stage
that was inaugurated by Tchaikovsky and has hosted every genre of
music and every major musical icon from the last 100 years from the
Beatles to Frank Sinatra along with every major symphony orchestra
from around the world. This is the stage that each participant will
take in what has been proclaimed to be the perfect acoustic. Moreover,
try as they might, they have not been able to reproduce the sound in
another theatre since the entire hall is, itself, a plaster
masterpiece that has not been able to be replicated in any other stage.
