John Angotti is a full time music missionary who travels throughout many parts of the world providing inspirational music and faith witness to all ages through concerts, workshops, retreats, missions, conferences, and worship. He is originally from Clarksburg, West Virginia, and now resides in Memphis, Tennessee, with his wife and two children. He is a graduate of West Virginia University, and the U.S. Military School of Music, where he was a member of the U.S. Navy Band as lead vocalist.

John’s message is clear: There is hope, healing, and truth with the love of God. This message not only extends to churchgoers, but also to those in the world who have not been reached by a liturgical worship or Christian music experience. With the style of today and the truth of the ancient, Angotti expresses hope and love for those longing for a deeper relationship with God. “My passion these days is to not only provide music for worship, but music that sings of the true witness of my experience of Christ in my life, that leads me to the table in faith. I have found that people relate through both music and testimony. All of us have a cross, even though we try to hide it. But there is no hiding place from God who is with us all the time.”

With a style reminiscent of Billy Joel and Elton John, John Angotti delivers a dynamic blend of contemporary styles and meaningful lyrics, leading him to be granted awards including “Male Vocalist of the Year,” “Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year,” and “Praise and Worship Album of the Year” from the United Catholic Music and Video Association. His writing styles include contemporary rock, pop, and Latin rhythms, along with his ability to give new life to traditional classics in chant and classical genres.

John was a featured performer in Sydney, Australia in 2008 and Madrid, Spain in 2011 for the tri-annual international World Youth Day, performing for crowds of 5000 and more. He continues to travel throughout the U.S. and the world bringing witness and hope in Christ.

John released a new Christmas album in the fall of 2009 titled Welcome Home for Christmas, and its titletrack was adopted by many parishes as part of their Catholics Come Home campaign. His latest album, Extraordinary Love, was released in early 2010. John has nine recordings to date, and his recorded and print music is found at, through Christian booksellers, iTunes,, and several other digital music stores.
